Phalaenopsis01

Original HabitSoutheast Asian areas with high humidity and temperature. They grow on trees in relatively dark places.
Phalaenopsis02

DerivationThe name came from two the  Greek words phalaina ( meaning ”looking like a moth” ) and opsis (meaning “appearance” ). Therefore, it means visually looking like a moth. The shape of the flower looks like a local moth.

Phalaenopsis03

History I have been on a trip to the habitat where Phalaenopsis are originally  from. What surprised me most was the fact that the original flower is very small. For decades, since the early 20th century, humans have kept producing new varieties of this tiny flower, and it has become the size now.

Phalaenopsis04

The Meaning of the FlowerI will love you.
